
pigmentGALLERY comprises three contemporary art exhibition spaces on level 2 of the iconic Nicholas Building in Melbourne City. The spaces are called pigment1, pigmentTWO and pigmentBLACK. pigmentGALLERY provides flexible and affordable exhibition opportunities aimed at early career artists through to established artists, curators and interste galleries looking for a centrally located exhibition space. The gallery has a rich, exciting and diverse exhibition program, changing on a regular basis, for visiting art lovers.
pigment1 and pigmentTWO provide classic exhibiting environments with natural light and clean lines.
pigmentBLACK comprises an enclosed space painted matt black with ceiling height approximately 2.9m and approximately 13 lineal metres of usable wall space. A gallery hanging system and gallery lighting is fitted throughout. The space will be available for a variety of uses including standard gallery hanging, installation, AV.
The gallery spaces are deceptively large and can accommodate a substantial number of works but are also suitable for more intimate exhibitions.
